Communicating Christ is not a new task, although in every generation it needs to be done in new ways.
We cannot be a part of Christ's family if we do not speak to each other. We cannot fulfil the purposes or the aims, if we do not communicate. Our search for unity, our struggle to break the chains of human injustice, are inspired and sustained by communicating what is being said and done across the boundaries which have historically separated and sometimes divided us from each other.
Communication needs to run through everything we do, from start to finish. Communication in this sense is a large and varied enterprise. It may take the form of action (which "speaks louder than words"), or worship (and not just preaching), for we also "communicate" when we share bread and wine at the Lord's table, or fostering relationships between people.

"We got Internet access in Jan. or Feb. of 1994 and the first church web site went up very shortly after getting access. St. Matthias was the second Anglican church in Canada to get a web site, the first being somewhere in Nova Scotia, I think Halifax. There was an article in CrossTalk about it while I still lived in Ottawa. Unfortunately, I don't have any early files. The earliest I have is the web site from around year 2000."
