Activities of this group, which meets regularly for fellowship and mutual support, vary, with speakers, excursions, and support of parish life through participation in many parish events. The group raises funds by selling frozen blueberries and raspberries each fall, annually organizing the church's antipasto and preserve table at the local Fisher Park Craft Fair, and holding parish bake sales.
Beyond the parish, the group supports The Well, a women's drop-in day centre, and Cornerstone women's shelters, both social services of the Anglican Diocese of Ottawa.
For more than 40 years, the Family Life Group has been meeting regularly to share a restaurant lunch or pot-luck supper at someone's home. These get-togethers are attended by a group of women of grandmotherly age who enjoy each other's friendship and mutual support. Members also take part in church projects such as flea markets.
Members of this long-standing group continue to support each other by phone and cards. They look after coffee hour monthly following the main Sunday service and supply gifts for Centre 454, The Well, and Cornerstone, all social services of the Anglican Diocese of Ottawa which serve homeless and disadvantaged persons in various ways.
