Our Sunday School is a small but enthusiastic group!
Sunday School is every Sunday, except for the 3rd Sunday of the month, during the 10:30 am service. Children are with the Congregation at the beginning of the service, and re-join the congregation for the Eucharist.
The curriculum used is a subscription-based, on-line service from the Whole People of God. It provides lesson plans for all ages and they are very easy to follow and implement. The readings and lessons provided are divided into various age groups. Each lesson also provides multiple activities that you can choose from. It can be a craft, a game, etc. The lessons also tie into each other from week to week, building on the learning.
All Saints Westboro has a youth group for teens. Most Sundays after worship, they gather from 11 – 12pm, have a snack and talk about various topics. In addition, once a month they have other planned activities. For example, September is go-karting and October is basketball with teens from the Diocese. In addition, they are preparing and fundraising for an event next summer: the Canadian Lutheran-Anglican Youth gathering in PEI. (Visit http://claygathering.ca for more info.) If you have a teen who would be interested in this, please contact Steve Sibbald at All Saints
